Inspiration
Jen Fisher's inspiration comes from her love of architecture, perspective drawing and her background as an interior designer. Born in Italy and having lived in New York City for many years, Jen has always been captivated by the beauty of cities, old and new, which are the main focus of her work. Her paintings capture the essence and energy of city life through her vibrant use of colors and diverse artistic styles.
Unique Artistic Process
Jen begins each piece with a sketch, either done on site or from a picture. That sketch is then transformed into a large scale acrylic on canvas, a smaller watercolor, or an abstract interpretation using various mediums. Her design background and technical skills influence her work by giving her a solid foundation for endless creativity and experimentation with new ideas.
